	In 1980 we bought our first German Shepherd and named her Zita van 't Passehof. Due to the influence of her breeder we became involved in the German Shepherd dog sport. Our first experience with the German Shepherd sport was both; kynology: entering our own dog into dog shows that judge German Shepherd breed standards and Training: Obedience/Tracking/Manwork. In 1985 we started our own German Shepherd breeding program and our kennel is registered with the Raad van Beheer op Kynologisch Gebied in Amsterdam under the name v.d. Tempelhoeve. Sinds 1985 we have successfully bred German Shepherd dogs.
	Before the Vereniging Duitseherders (V.D.H.) will register a kennel as approved the breeder must meet a set of quality standards, and our kennel has successfully met all those requirements. Furthermore our kennel takes quality a step further by utilizing DNA testing to quantify bloodlines. In the meanwhile we have developed our own bloodline using several self bred bitches, some can be viewed in photographs within this website.
